Odense Congress Center has 22 accessible parking bays, and they are located right next to the hotel and Jyske Bank Arena. There is no difference in level from the car park to the main entrance, where the electric door measures 1.55 metres (5’ 1”) wide.
Both Jyske Bank Arena and Odense Congress Center provide several accessible toilets for our guests. We have two accessible toilets in the foyer of the arena, two on the 1st floor and one on the 2nd floor.
In Odense Congress Center itself, we have five accessible toilets on the ground floor, two in the basement, and one on each hotel floor.
Our accessible toilets measure 2.2 metres (7’ 2”) by 1.7 ( 5’ 7”) metres, and special handles are fitted to all of them. The sliding doors have a width of 103 centimetres (3’ 4”).
All exhibition halls are located on the ground floor, and there are public lifts so that everyone can participate in meetings that may take place on the premises on the 1st floor of the Odense Congress Center or the 1st and 2nd floors of the Jyske Bank Arena.
The main conference rooms – Zealand, Funen, and Jutland – are all located on the ground floor. Here we have a teleloop available, and the podium is accessible.
You eat well at the Odense Congress Center, and our restaurant is freely accessible. Furthermore, we have an accessible toilet near the restaurant’s entrance. Our menu caters to diabetics, vegetarians, guests with allergies, intolerances and religious restrictions.
Odense Congress Center has 102 rooms and 7 suites spread over 4 floors. You can easily get back and forth between the floors via the lift, which has a door width of 1 metre (3’ 3”). The control panel is located at a height of 132 centimetres (4’ 4”).
In our 99 double rooms, the door width to the toilet is 81 centimetres (2’ 7”). In the suites, there is a sliding door to the toilet, while the doorstep is compensated with a ramp.
We also have four accessible rooms where there are ramps on the door steps to the bathrooms. In these rooms, there are elevated beds and a door width from the hallway to the room of 105 centimetres (3’ 5”).
There are also accessible toilets in the hallway on each floor.
One of Denmark’s most modern multi-arenas, Jyske Bank Arena, was designed from the beginning to provide accessible access for everyone. The location is top-notch, and there are plenty of parking spaces – finally, cars can drive all the way to the entrance of Jyske Bank Arena, so that the distance is limited as much as possible.
The Arena itself is accessible with a wide entrance and a design where seats, facilities, and stands are accessible without the need for stairs or lifts. People with walking difficulties or wheelchair users can enjoy great musical experiences and shows in Jyske Bank Arena.
Jyske Bank Arena also offers a companion arrangement for guests using wheelchairs. This means that we provide free access for a companion when you buy a ticket for an experience in the Arena.
